Design Sports hires Raconteurs for Sarasota Half Marathon
Through a partnership with Design Sports, Raconteurs will assist with the course set up services for the 2020 Sarasota Music Half Marathon and 10K.

The unique experience of running over the Ringling Bridge overlooking Sarasota Bay is a highlight every runner should experience and a part of what makes the Sarasota Music Half Marathon and 10K a must-do race,” said Dunn.
Design Sports, owned by Fred Rzymek, has overseen an extensive endurance portfolio throughout the State of Florida including triathlon, open water swimming, cycling, and running events for the past 30 years. Founder of the Lycra and Lace Triathlon, the first female-only triathlon in Florida, Design Sports is known for pioneering event innovation. Design Sports has worked on major projects for St. Anthony’s Triathlon, the Sunset Running Series, Escape from Fort DeSoto Triathlon, World of Beer 5K, Swim for Alligator Lighthouse, and countless corporate and community events, among others.
Designated a Sarasota Signature Event and “Best in Class” by Inside Runner, the Sarasota Music Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2020. Considered a bucket list race, the Sarasota Music Half Marathon and 10K showcase great music provided by rock and school bands, neighborhood cheer zones, and lawn parties. Coined “a 13.1 and 6.2-mile moving party with thousands of your buddies,” runners will receive live music along the routes, running on St. Armand’s Circle and over the Ringling Bridge, gourmet post-race brunch, cool gear, wicked cool participation medal, hoodies, and long sleeve t-shirts and a rockin’ after-party with live music, massages, and tons of fun.
